12 February is the International Day against the Abuse of Child Soldiers. The United Nations Children's Emergency Fund UNICEF calls on people to make a statement with red handprints against the fact that children and young people are recruited by force in war zones around the world or are forced to join fighting troops out of existential need. The Technology Collections Dresden support the "Red Hand Day" 2023.
